Wendy Zhai, OD

Dr. Wendy Zhai is the current Cornea and Contact Lens Resident at the School of Optometry & Vision Science. After completing her Bachelor of Science at the University of Western Ontario, she went on to obtain her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo with distinction. She was honored with Dr. Robert B. Mandell GP Clinical Excellence Award. 

In her spare time, Dr. Zhai enjoys bouldering, creating digital artworks, and spending time with family and friends. She is passionate about improving visual outcomes for patients with cornea diseases and providing myopia control for children, and is excited to apply her clinical training in specialty contact lenses in the care of her patients. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
