Lindsay Sicks, OD, FAAO
Dr. Sicks graduated magna cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2006 with a BA in Biology. She received her OD from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2010 and went on to complete a residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry. She is certified in the performance of anterior segment laser procedures and is licensed in both Illinois and Oklahoma. Currently, Dr. Sicks serves as an attending optometrist for third- and fourth-year clinicians in the Cornea Center for Clinical Excellence. She is also involved in the didactic training of students in specialty contact lenses, injections, minor surgical procedures, and anterior segment laser therapy. She enjoys presenting continuing education and research at both local and national meetings and serves as a consultant for Alcon Laboratories. Dr. Sicks is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, the International Association of Contact Lens Educators, and the Scleral Lens Education Society. She serves as Chair of the Faculty-Student Liaison Committee of the American Academy of Optometry and on the Communications Committee for the Association of Optometric Contact Lens Educators. Outside of ICO, Dr. Sicks enjoys spending time with her husband and two small children and is currently training to be a Gallup-certified Strengths Coach.
