Kim Duong, OD

My name is Kim Duong and I'm an Assistant Professor at Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry. I grew up in Northern Virginia and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia before earning my Doctor of Optometry and Master of Science degrees through the dual OD/MS program at SUNY College of Optometry. I later completed a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health.

My clinical and research interests include pediatric optometry, myopia management, and pediatric contact lenses. I enjoy teaching and helping future optometrists develop the skills and confidence to care for children and their families. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our toddler, Kai, and our dog, Kona.
