Dan Meinert

Dan Meinert is the Commercial Business Manager, North America for Acuity Polymers, Inc.

Dan’s experience in the specialty contact lens business spans over 15 years. He helped SynergEyes launch new irregular cornea and vison correction hybrid lens designs in the Midwest part of the country. Following his time at SynergEyes, he joined X-Cel Specialty Contacts (part of Walman) to help grow their specialty lab business with a focus on scleral lenses through educational, hands-on wet labs. Most recently, he was at Euclid Vision helping ECPs across the country implement and grow their myopia management practice with orthokeratology. Euclid acquired Visionary Optics in 2022 where he also was involved with introducing advanced scleral lens designs and technology to ECPs. In Q2 of 2024, Dan joined Acuity Polymers to help support and manage the lab channel business in North America.

Dan is both passionate and committed to the specialty contact lens industry. He has enjoyed playing a role in helping bring advanced contact lens designs to specialty lens practitioners and their patients. Now he’s excited to help support labs through continuous education and introducing new, innovative lens materials and enhancements to keep the industry moving forward. He truly enjoys the personal and professional relationships he has made along the way with his customers and those in the industry.

As a parent of 3 kids, he enjoys spending time with family and watching them grow. He also enjoys professional sports and is a self-taught backyard pitmaster.
