John Hibbs

John Hibbs attended TCU and graduated in 1985. He has been married to his College sweetheart for 40 years. Together they have three children: Son Christian is VP of Commercial Lending with Frost Bank. Middle daughter Jaimie is corporate events planner for IBM. Erin is on staff with YoungLife Ministries. John is a veteran in the Optometric Industry. Beginning his career back in 1990. He spent 25 years with Bausch & Lomb and then joined Contamac in 1995. John is currently the Vice President of Commercial Sales US. He works closely with the US customized lab network partnering to bring the practitioners the most innovative designs for all modalities of correction in both GP and Soft Lens materials. John has received numerous company and industry honors but, cherishes the honor given by the CLMA as the 2017 “Innovator in Industry Award” as a personal career achievement. He currently serves as President of CLMA Board of Directors and Vice President of the GPLI.
