Jerbrea Powell, OD

Hi, I'm Jerbrea Powell. I'm originally from Byram, Mississippi, and earned my bachelor's degree from Tougaloo College before completing my Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

During my second year of optometry school, my sister was diagnosed with keratoconus. Seeing firsthand how specialty contact lenses could transform her vision inspired me to pursue a cornea and contact lens residency. I am passionate about helping patients with corneal conditions achieve their best possible vision through personalized care and advanced contact lens technology.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and attending live events, including theater performances, music concerts, and sporting events.
