Hye Kyung Moon, OD

Hye Kyung Moon was born in Seoul, South Korea but grew up in Kingston, Jamaica before coming to the United States to pursue higher education. Upon graduating from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry in May 2026, she moved to Boston, MA where she is currently a cornea/contact lens resident at the New England College of Optometry. Prior to optometry school, she completed both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Neuroscience and Behavior at Wesleyan University which prompted her interest in pursuing optometry. In her free time, she enjoys working out, hiking in national parks, cooking for friends, and playing with dogs.
