Danielle Torre, OD

Hi my name is Danielle Torre and I am from Toms River, New Jersey. I'm currently doing an ocular disease/contact lens residency at Columbus Ophthalmology Associates in Columbus, Ohio. I went to the State University of New York at New Paltz for my undergrad and majored in biology and minored in psychology. Afterwards, I attended optometry school at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University (now Drexel University).

Fun fact: My first job in high school was working at an ice cream shop on the Seaside Heights boardwalk. A niche and unpopular show that you may have heard of called "Jersey Shore" was filmed there. By coincidence, I shadowed one of the main cast member's optometrist in upstate New York while still in undergrad. Can you guess which member?
