UHCO - Faculty

Courtney Morrow, OD

I was born in Nashville, TN. I received my bachelor’s degree in physics and astronomy in 2013 with a special interest and research in lenses, mirrors, and telescopes. I went on to earn my Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. After practicing in a private practice setting for a year, I joined the University of Houston College of Optometry for my residency in family practice from 2018 to 2019. After a year of adjunct teaching, I joined an interdisciplinary practice with a focus on ocular disease in 2020. After five years, my love of teaching has brought me back to join the faculty at UHCO.

In my free time, I enjoy reading a good book, traveling with friends and family, and playing video games. I also love a good plate of tacos. My guilty pleasure is cake, ice cream, or a smooth matcha latte on a rainy afternoon.
