Christopher Nguyen, OD

Dr. Christopher Nguyen is currently a fellow in the Advanced Medically Necessary Contact Lens Fellowship at the University of Illinois Chicago. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, he spent most of his life in Houston, Texas. Dr. Nguyen earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Houston in 2019. He went on to complete his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2023. Dr. Nguyen recently completed a residency in Primary Care at the VA New Jersey Healthcare System, with a focus on Ocular Disease and Low Vision Rehabilitation. Outside of patient care, he enjoys exploring new destinations and tasting a variety of cuisines.
