Alexis Herstein, OD
Alexis Prager Herstein is the Cornea and Contact Lens Resident at The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Originally from Dallas, Texas, she earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin before completing her Doctor of Optometry and Master of Visual Science and Physiological Optics degrees at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Her professional interests include specialty contact lenses, anterior segment disease, and ocular surface disease, with research focused on improving comfort and vision for scleral lens wearers. Outside of optometry, Alexis enjoys practicing yoga, exploring local farmers markets, trying new recipes, and spending time with her husband, Jacob, and their Labrador Retriever, Lila.
